Coverity on Polaris for Bamboo

Coverity on Polaris helps security and development teams analyze security risks in their software products. Coverity on Polaris provides a comprehensive, aggregated view of application security with the ability to examine and manage individual issues.

The following describes a high-level overview of the Coverity on Polaris integration with Bamboo Server.

• Use the Coverity on Polaris CLI client in Bamboo to run static analysis on your software code and upload the results to your Coverity on Polaris server.
• The Coverity on Polaris CLI Scan Client (Coverity on Polaris CLI) coordinates with the Coverity on Polaris server to perform analysis on source code.
• Invoke various Coverity on Polaris CLI analysis options on your builds in Bamboo.
• Run a full analysis scan on a build.
• Trigger a scan when you commit code to a repository to enable Coverity on Polaris scans based on your pre-configured Bamboo build tasks.
